Suriya, Sasikumar and Jyothika to team up!

Jyothika’s new film to directed by R Saravanan of ‘Kathukutty’ fame was launched today with an auspicious pooja and the customary switch on ceremony. The film also stars Sasikumar, Samuthirakani, Kalaiyarasan and Soori in major roles. Suriya’s own production house 2D Entertainment is producing the film.

This yet to be titled film is said to be a rural based mass entertainer. Jyothika has not done a proper rural film since her comeback and this one is expected to be a challenging film for her. On the other hand, rural films are the stronghold of Samuthirakani and Sasikumar. The film will have cinematography by R Velraj, music department handled by D Imman and edits by Ruben.

Almost all the team members including Suriya, Jyothika, Sasikumar, Samuthirakani, Kalaiyarasan, Soori, Velraj, Imman and Ruben were present for the pooja event. Full fledged shoot will be beginning very shortly.
