Suriya’s Etharkkum Thunindhavan out on Netflix

Suriya-starrer ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ has started streaming on Netflix. The film directed by Pandiraj had hit screens on March 10. Upon its theatrical release, the film fetched mixed response and ended up as an average affair at the box office.

The film inspired from the Pollachi sexual assault case has Suriya as an advocate. Based in a rural setting, the film talks about assaults against women, organized sex rackets and how Suriya’s character saves women from potentially dangerous situations.

‘Doctor’ fame Priyanka Mohan is paired with Suriya in the film and Vinay Rai essays the antagonist’s role. Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Jayaprakash, Ilavarasan, Soori, Devadarshini, Subbu Panchu Arunachalam, Saran and many others are part of the cast.

After the film’s release, there were about the possibility of a sequel. However, the makers haven’t yet decided about it.
