Suriya’s Etharkkum Thunindhavan release date announced

This summer, Indian cinema is set to witness a slew of releases. Due to the pandemic third wave, most of the films planned for release in the first two months have rescheduled their plans to March and April. Suriya’s ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ is one such biggie. The makers have just announced the film will be having a grand theatrical release on March 10.

Directed by Pandiraj, ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ promises to be action-packed entertainer in which Suriya will be seen in a villager’s role after a long gap. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the film is inspired from the Pollachi sexual assault case.

Priyanka Arul Mohan, who was last seen in ‘Doctor’, is the heroine. Vinay plays the antagonist’s role. Sathyaraj, Rajkiran, Saranya Ponvannan, Jayaprakash, Ilavarasan, Devadarshini, Subbu Panchu Arunachalam and Saran are part of the supporting cast.

The film has Rathnavelu as the cinematographer and D Imman as the music director. AnbAriv duo has choreographed the stunts.
