Suriya’s Jai Bhim trailer release date announced

The much-awaited trailer of Suriya’s new film ‘Jai Bhim’ will be out on October 22. The announcement was made along with a new poster. Directed by ‘Kootathil Oruthan’ fame TJ Gnanavel, ‘Jai Bhim’ promises to be an intense social drama.

Suriya plays an advocate’s role in the film and his character is inspired from a real-life person. The film traces the discrimination against an oppressed community by the system. Suriya as a forthright lawyer will be seen waging a legal battle for the community.

Rajisha Vijayan, Lijomol Jose of ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram’ fame, Manikandan, Prakash Raj and many others are part of the cast. SR Kathir wields the camera and Philomin Raj handles the edits. Sean Roldan is music director.

‘Jai Bhim’ is slated to have a direct release on Amazon Prime Video. Produced by Suriya and Jyotika’s banner 2D Entertainment, the film is all set to premiere on November 2 ahead of Deepavali.
