Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil: Antony Varghese’s next after Angamaly Diaries starts rolling

Antony Varghese shot to fame with his performance as the lead actor in his debut outing Angamaly Diaries (AD). The actor was flooded with offers post the sensational success of AD but he remained patient for the right project. Today he will start shooting for his next film titled Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil.

Tinu Pappachan, a former associate of Lijo Jose Pellissery is making his directorial debut with this movie. It also marks the maiden production venture of director B Unnikrishnan. Chemban Vinod Jose and Lijo Jose Pellissery are also part of the team as co-producers.

Newcomer Dileep Kurian has scripted this movie which is tipped to be an action thriller. Antony plays a Kottayam based youngster who works in a finance company. The movie revolves around certain incidents that occur on a single night which turns things upside down. How the lead character, played by Antony, tries to solve the problems takes the plot forward.

Kerala State Award winner Vinayakan and Chemban Vinod Jose will be seen in prominent roles in the movie. Angamaly Diaries actor Tito Wilson, who played the role of U Clamp Rajan in AD, is also part of this upcoming movie. A newcomer is said to be playing the female lead. Kottayam, Mangalore and Australia have been finalized as the major shooting locations. Girish Gangadharan, the cinematographer in AD will be cranking the camera for this upcoming movie as well
