Take One short film festival Ragam fest 2016
Take One, the biggest short film festival in Asia is all set begin on April 2 at Calicut NIT campus as a part of the Ragam cultural festival. Take One, is indeed a platform for the emerging talents in film making. This will give you a platform to show your talents and also to learn a lot by watching and interacting with many other talents and their creativity. This will give you all the opportunity to make your emotions real and also to reflect upon the truths that you believe in. Along with this Take One Short film festival, there will be an Indie film festival as well there.
The winner of this film festival will take away the first prize worth 50000 thousand rupees. Indie film festival will also start at April 1 and the screening venue is Chanakya. On the first day, films like Kari and Ottal will be screened there. On that day there will be an interactive session with Naranipuzha Shanavas, who is the director of the film Kari.
On 2nd April, films like Shavam, Un-Freedom and Papilio Budha will be screened. Shavam is directed by Don Palathara and Papilio Budha is directed by Jayan K Cherian. Un-Freedom is conceived by Raj Amit Kumar and all these films were won many prestigious honors and appreciation from different film festivals.
