Telugu version of Suriya’s Thaana Serntha Koottam titled as Gang!

Almost all big-ticket Tamil movies these days are getting dubbed versions in Telugu. The Makers put in their best of efforts to release both the versions simultaneously to ensure a big opening at the box office. After Ajith’s Vivegam and Vijay’s Mersal, Suriya’s next release Thaana Serntha Koottam (TSK) is also getting a Telugu version. The makers revealed the title and the first look poster of the movie today.

The Telugu dubbed version of Suriya’s Thaana Serntha Koottam has been titled as Gang and is slated to release simultaneously on January 12. TSK is directed by Vignesh Shivan of Poda Podi and Nannum Rowdy Dhaan fame. Shoot for the movie was wrapped only recently and the team is currently busy with the post-production works.

The teaser of Thaana Serntha Koottam was recently earlier this week to great response from the audience. The movie is loosely inspired from the 2013 Akshay Kumar flick Special 26, directed by Neeraj Pandey. It is a heist crime thriller based on some real life incidents.

Thaana Serntha Koottam has an elaborate supporting cast which includes Keerthy Suresh, Ramya Krishnan, Karthik, Kalaiarasan, Nandha, Sathyan, popular yesteryear comedian Senthil, Saranya Ponvannan, Kovai Sarala, KS Ravikumar, RJ Balaji, Anandraj and Thambi Ramaiah among others.

Anirudh is handling the music department in Thaana Serntha Koottam. The single ‘Sodakku’ has already become a huge hit among the audience. KE Gnanavel Raja’s Studio Green is producing this movie which is slated for a grand Pongal release this coming January.
