Thala Ajith out from Billa 3 and Simbu to play the lead in it

Billa is one of the mass hits of Thala Ajith in Kollywood which was directed by Vishnu Vardhan. It was the Tamil remake of the popular Bollywood film Don starred by Amitabh Bachchan. Earlier the film was remade with Rajinikanth in the lead in Kollywood. Ajith starrer Billa is the remake of that Tamil version. Billa was released in 2007 and a sequel to that film was made with the title Billa 2 in 2012.

Billa 2 was directed by Chakri Toleti and Ajith was the hero in that sequel as well. But Billa 2 was not as good as its prequel and not made a great impact at box office. But, still Billa is one of the most favorite characters of the fans of Thala Ajith. Now, a report is coming from Kollywood that Thala Ajith will not be a part of Billa 3 and instead of him, Silambarasan aka Simbu will play the lead in it.

This news had really shocked the fans of Ajith as per reports. The 3rd part of Billa will be directed by Venkat Prabhu and they are planning to start the film in 2017. It will hit the screens in 2018 and Yuvan Sankar Raja is roped in to tune the music for this flick.

Simbu aka Silambasaran had made a good come back in Kollywood with his latest release named Ithu Namma Aalu which had already become a super hit there. He will have release like Acham Yenbathu Madaiyameda directed by Gautham Menon as well in the near future. He is all set to start a film named Anpaanavan Asaraathavan Adangaathavan directed by Aadik Ravichandran next. The interesting fact about Simbu is that he is a great Thala admirer and now got the chance to play a character which was earlier played by his hero Ajith.

Ajith is all set to start the Siva directorial next month and he will also have a Vishnu Vardhan project which may have Mollywood Super Star Mohanlal as well in it playing the lead along with Ajith.
