Thalaivar 168: Nayanthara joins the cast of Rajinikanth’s next

Superstar Rajinikanth’s next film, tentatively titled as ‘Thalaivar 168’, is being directed by Siva. Sun Pictures is producing the film. Shoot for the film has already commenced in Hyderabad. Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu, Prakash Raj, Sathish and Soori are already been confirmed in the cast. The makers have made a surprised announcement now.

Nayanthara has joined the already star-studded cast. This is her second successive film with Rajinikanth after the recently released ‘Darbar’. The two had earlier shared screen space in ‘Chandramukhi’ and in song in ‘Sivaji’.

Siva’s film is said to be a rural-based family entertainer on the lines of his last year’s blockbuster ‘Viswasam’. It remains to be seen who plays Rajinikanth’s pair in this yet-to-be titled film. Vetri is cranking the camera and Imman is handling music. The film is most likely to release for Diwali 2020.
