Thalapathy 62 first look to be released on Vijay’s birthday

Vijay’s upcoming movie with AR Murugadoss, tentatively titled Thalapathy 62, one of the most anticipated Tamil films of the year. This is the actor-director duo’s third outing together after the blockbuster successes of Thupakki and Kaththi. Both the movies did a business of over Rs 100 crores and hence expectations are high for the this upcoming movie as well.

As per latest reports, the much awaited title and first look of Thalapathy 62 will be released on Vijay’s birthday which falls on June 22. Interestingly, the title and first look of Vijay’s last film Mersal was announced on the same day, last year. Fans are highly excited for the first look after seeing an extremely stylish and sophisticated Vijay in the leaked stills.

Thalapathy 62 team is currently on a break. As per reports, they will be resuming shoot on May 15 in Chennai. Some talkie portions, a key action scene and dance number featuring Vijay and Keerthy Suresh will be shot in this upcoming schedule which will go on for two weeks.

Thalapathy 62 is said to be a political thriller. Director AR Murugadoss himself has scripted the movie, and dialogues are penned by noted writer Jeyamohan, who is also the co-writer of 2.O. Pala Karuppaiah, a politician in real life, is playing one in the movie as well. Veteran actor Radha Ravi essays the role of a MLA. Along with them, Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar is also playing a brief but very crucial role. These three actors are said to be the antagonists in the movie. Realistic fights choreographed by Ram-Laxman duo will be another major highlight. Sun Pictures is producing this big budget movie which has music by maestro AR Rahman.
