Thalapathy 62: Second schedule of Vijay’s next commenced in Kolkata

After wrapping up a brief schedule in Chennai, the team of Vijay 62 is has has now reached Kolkata. They will be shooting some major portions including a high voltage car chase sequence in the city. Leading stunt master duo Ram-Lakshman have already joined the team. The makers have planned for a 3 week long shoot in Kolkata.

This highly anticipated movie is directed by AR Murugadoss. It is third movie with Vijay after Thupakki and Kaththi. Both the movies were huge blockbusters and are placed in the elite 100 crore club of Kollywood. So, expectations are massive for this upcoming movie among the masses. Vijay is sporting a new look for this movie with a closely trimmed beard and a stylish ear stud. Keerthy Suresh is playing the female lead. Yogi Babu and Vikram Vedha fame Prem Kumar are also part of the movie’s supporting cast.

Jeyamohan, the co-writer of 2.0, is penning the dialogues in Vijay 62. Malayali cinematographer Girish Gangadharan is cranking the camera. Multiple National award winner Sreekar Prasad is the editor and AR Rahman is handling the music department. Sun Pictures is making a comeback to production after an 8 year long gap by backing this big budget film.
