Thalapathy 64: Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan join Vijay for a big budget film!

As reported by us earlier, Vijay’s next (Thalapathy 64) after ‘Bigil’ will be directed by the two-film-old Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film is said to be a completely different attempt from the usual mass entertainers that Vijay does. While shoot is scheduled to begin next month, the film’s cast has got two big additions in Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan. Apart from them, Malayalam after Antony Varghese of ‘Angamaly Diaries’ is also rumoured to be part of the film.

‘Thalapathy 64’ is reportedly shaping up as a gangster thriller. As per producer Xavier Britto, it will be a big budget film and shoot will be beginning this month itself. Vijay Sethupathi, who was highly impressed by Lokesh’s script, is reportedly playing the negative role and Malavika has been signed to pair up with Vijay.

Music director Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan, editor Philomin Raj, Stunt Silva and art director Satheesh Kumar form the film’s core technical crew.
