Thamaasha director Ashraf Hamza’s next with Kunchacko Boban begins!

After the success of ‘Thamaasha’, director Ashraf Hamza is next helming a film starring Kunchacko Boban. It is produced jointly by Chemboski Motion Pictures, headed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, Chemban Vinod Jose, and OPM Cinemas, headed by Aashiq Abu-Rima Kallingal duo. Shoot for the film kick-started today in Kuttippuram, Malappuram.

Chemban Vinod Jose is scripting the film. It is his second outing as a scenarist after the widely acclaimed ‘Angamaly Diaries’. Vincy Aloshious, who started off with the reality show ‘Nayika Nayakan’ and later made an impressive debut with ‘Vikruthi’, play the female lead. Girish Gangadharan is the cinematographer. The makers are yet to reveal any other details regarding the film.

Kunchacko Boban has a slew of other projects lined up. He has already completed shooting for Martin Prakkatt’s ‘Naayattu’, Jis Joy’s ‘Mohan Kumar Fans’ editor-turned-filmmaker Appu Bhattathiri’s directorial debut ‘Nizhal’ and ‘ID’ fame Kamal KM’s multi-starrer ‘Pada’. ‘Ezra’ director Jay K’s ‘Grrr’, ‘Guppy’ director John Paul George’s ‘Mariam Tailors’ and ‘Anjaam Pathiraa’ sequel are his other upcoming projects.
