Thanks to Prithviraj says Amar Akbar Anthony fame Shafiqu Rahiman

The grand success of Amar Akbar Anthony directed by Nadirsha had given immense popularity and attention to many artists. Child artist Meenakshi and script writers of the film, Bibin and Vishnu etc are those ones who got great attention through the film. Apart from that another actor named Shafiqu Rahiman also become popular through this film who played one of the key characters in the film.

He played the character of a Bengali worker (Dhappan) with negative shades. He had played that character with such perfection that everyone thought that he is a real Bengali. Shafiqu says that he had to thank Prithviraj as he gave him great support while acting together and that is why he able to play that character with confidence.

He says that his first scene was with Prithviraj and right from the word go Prithviraj was very much supportive. Shafiqu also said that he has been very lucky to share screen space with actors like Prithviraj, Indrajith, Jayasurya etc and he also thanked director Nadirsha for giving him the opportunity to play such a key role in his film. Shafiqu said that it was Nadirsha’s confidence in him that gave him the strength to do that role and he owes Nadirsha for believing in him and his abilities.

Amar Akbar Anthony had already crossed 30 crores total gross till now and one of the biggest successes of Mollywood. Shafique is getting many offers after the success of this film.
