Thanneer Mathan Dhinangal director Girish AD’s next is with Arjun Ashokan

After the huge success of ‘Thanneer Mathan Dhinangal’, film lovers have been eagerly waiting to hear about its director Girish AD’s next film. It has now been confirmed that the young filmmaker will be teaming up with Arjun Ashokan for a family entertainer. Last day, the makers had released a casting call seeking for female actors within the age group of 17-21 and 45-60. Male actors between 50-60 years are also welcomed.

‘Thaneer Mathan Dhinangal’ was a surprise hit that turned into a sensation at the box office. Naturally, expectations will be huge on Girish AD’s next with Arjun Ashokan, who is easily one of the most promising among the younger generation of actors. Shebin Becker, who was one of the producers of ‘Thaneer Mathan Dhinangal’, is backing this new film along with Stuck Cows.

Apart from his sophomore directorial, Girish is also involved in the production of a new film along with Shebin Becker. Antony Varghese will be playing the lead in the film which will be directed by debutant Vineeth Vasudevan. Vineeth is a popular name in the short film circles. Last year, his short film ‘Veli’ won the award for Best Film and Best Screenplay at this year’s FEFKA Short Film Festival. Interestingly, Vineeth had also appeared in a cameo role in ‘Thanneer Mathan Dhinangal’.
