The Body: Release date announced for Jeethu Joseph-Emraan Hashmi film

As we had reported earlier, Jeethu Jospeh is making his Bollywood debut with a thriller film starring Emraan Hashmi and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles. The film titled as ‘The Body’ is the remake of a popular Spanish flick named, ‘El Cuerpo’. Shoot for the film was wrapped in July last year and it will finally be hitting screens on December 13. The official announcement was made just a while back.

Jeethu is well known for helming thriller films and this new film also belongs to his favourite genre – thriller. As per the makers, it is a crime thriller with elements of mystery. Reportedly, the producers had approached Jeethu after acquiring the remake rights of ‘El Cuerpo’.

Along with Rishi Kapoor and Emraah Hashmi, the film also has Vedhik and Sobhita Dhulipala in important roles. It is being produced by Sunil Kheterpal and will be presented by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Trailer and other promos are expected to be out soon.
