The comeback story of Action Hero Biju !

Action Hero Biju, the first release of Nivin Pauly after the big success of Premam and the next film of Abrid Shine after the award winning and successful film 1983. The anticipation factor was very high and hopes were too high to say the least. The title and the first look poster of the film had given a feel to the audience that, Nivin Pauly is all set to play a cop role with full on action mode and the film will be a stepping stone to his super stardom. That hope was indeed become a negative for the film when it was released. When it was released, the film had received mixed reviews from its first day and have to say that most of the reviews were negative from the common audience. But to their relief, critics gave thumps up for the film.

The audience had expected a mass masala action film and what they got was a realistic cop story which went through a comedy track. So it was not digested by the audience at first. From its second day onwards it had lost screens and shows were reduced as well at many centers. Many feared that whether the film is going to end up as a disaster.

But the team behind the film did not lose hope and they went on with full on promotion to make people aware of what the film is all about and what it really want to say. There begins the comeback story of Action Hero Biju. From the second week, the film began to pick up its pace in box office and from a poor state of collection it had reached to a steady and decent collection mode. It gained back the lost screens at many centers and people who later to see the film gave it very good reviews.

We cannot say that it is a grand success as the hope from Nivin Pauly, the star, was much more and the success of the film did not raise to that expected level. But at least he had continued his winning streak. Now, everyone hopes that through his next film Jacobinte Swargarajyam, Nivin will be back to his super successful track.
