The Priest director Jofin T Chacko heaps praise on Operation Java

‘Operation Java’ is the current talk in Malayalam cinema-based social media circles. The film got released on February 12 and opened to highly positive reviews from all corners. Going by the general response, both critics as well as the commoners seem to have lapped up the film.

Recently, director Jofin T Chacko, whose debut film ‘The Priest’ is gearing up for release, heard praise on ‘Operation Java’. Likewise, popular editor Shameer Muhammed and many others have appreciated the film and its makers.

‘Operation Java’, written and directed by debutant Tharun Moorthy, is an investigative film based on cyber crimes. The film is inspired from several real-life incidents. It focusses on how the Kerala Police’s cyber department functions and the various cases they encounter.

Balu Varghese, Vinayakan, Lukman, Irshad, Shine Tom Chacko, Binu Pappu, Dhanya Ananya, Mamitha Baiju, Vineetha Koshy, Johny Antony and Prashanth Alexander are part of the film’s cast. It has edits by Nishadh Yusuf and cinematography by Faiz Siddik. V Cinemas International is producing the film.
