Theri will be distributed in Kerala by Friday Film House in association with Carnival Motion Pictures

Theri, the upcoming Vijay film directed by Atlee is making news for the last few days. Its all about who will distribute the flick here in Kerala as the production team demands huge money as distribution rights. Because of the disaster Vijay had with his last release named Puli here and due to overall bad show of Tamil films in Kerala box office recently, many well-known distribution companies which usually takes the Tamil film distribution here in Kerala were reluctant to take up the distribution of Theri for a big amount.

From today morning a rumor began to spread that August Cinemas, which is working under the ownership of Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadeshan and Arya will take up the distribution of Theri. But now everything is cleared and it will be Friday Film House owned by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas will distribute the film here in association with Carnival motion pictures Ltd.

The film will release on the 14th of April and it will be a big release just like all other Vijay films. Vijay had a great fan following here in Kerala and will get a large number of theaters here for sure. With Friday Film house distributing it, which has a great marketing and distributing network here in mollywood, Theri is expected to make merry at Kerala.

Friday Film house and Carnival motion pictures had together bought the distribution right of Theri for a whopping amount of 5.60 crores. They both had produced the film Adi Kapyare Koottamani together and planning the second part of the film as well. Their another production venture Muthugow, which is introducing Super Star Suresh Gopi’s son Gokul Suresh is all set for release also.

As per reports they are also producing a film with Mammootty in the lead, which will be directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. They are planning the second part of Aadu Oru Bheekara Jeeviayanu too with Jayasurya and Midhun Manuel Thomas who is now busy with his Sunny Wayne starrer.
