Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum scriptwriter Sajeev Pazhoor to debut as a director in Tamil; Yogi Babu and Urvashi to play the leads!

Malayali scriptwriter Sajeev Pazhoor is all set to make his debut as a filmmaker in Tamil. Yogi Babu and Urvashi will be seen playing the lead roles in the film, which is yet to be titled. This will be Yogi Babu’s next as a lead actor after the recently acclaimed OTT film, ‘Mandela’.

Sajeev Pazhoor is a two-time Kerala State award winner for Best Documentary Director. He is best known for scripting the widely acclaimed film, ‘Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum’. The film won him awards the National and State level for Best Screenplay. He later scripted ‘Sathyam Paranja Viswasikumo’, which had Biju Menon and Samvrutha Sunil as the leads. His upcoming film ‘Keshu Ee Veedinte Nathan’ stars Dileep and Urvashi in the main roles. It is being directed by Nadirshah.

It is interesting that Sajeev Pazhoor chose to make his feature film directorial debut in Tamil after establishing himself as a successful scenarist in Malayalam. More details regarding the project are expected to be out after the official announcement is made.
