Three female leads in Fahadh Faasil’s next

After the completion of ‘Malik’, Fahadh Faasil has been on a break to gain the pounds that he had shed for film. Once the ongoing shoot restriction enforced due to the Corona virus outbreak is lifted, the actor is expected to join the sets of Akhil Sathyan’s film. Fahadh will be seen as a Mumbai-based Malayali youth in the film.

Akhil Sathyan has also scripted the film which has three female leads – Viji Venkatesh, Dhwanu Rajesh and Anjana Jayaprakash. Viji, a renowned author, is making her acting debut with this film. Dhwani Rajesh, the 13-year-old who had earlier starred in the Majid Majidi directorial ‘Beyond The Clouds’ will be seen essaying a crucial role. Anjana Jayaprakash, who recently appeared in the Tamil-English web series ‘Queen’, is the other female lead.

The film is centred around the journey of Fahadh’s character from Mumbai to Kerala and then to Goa. It is basically a story of a young girl and an older woman, and how Fahadh’s character connects them both. It is a fun character that offers enough scope for the star to display his humour skills.

On the technical front, the makers have got Sharan Velayudhan of ‘Ambili’ fame as the DOP and Justin Varghese to handle the music department. Besides scripting and directing, Akhil Sathyan is also editing the film. Sethu Mannarkad of Full Moon Cinema is producing it.
