Three heroines in Mammootty’s Madura Raja!

The title and first look of Mammootty’s upcoming movie with Vysakh was unveiled last day in social medias. The movie titled as Madura Raja is the spin-off of Mammootty’s character from his 2010 hit flick Pokkiri Raja. Udhayakrishna, who last teamed up with Vysakh last for the mega blockbuster Pulimurugan, has scripted Madura Raja as well.

Just like the first part, Pokkiriraja, Madura Raja has also been planned as a mass commercial entertainer. The movie reportedly has three heroines in Anusree, Shamna Kasim and Mahima Nambiar. Tamil actor Jai is also playing a prominent role in the movie. Prithviraj, who played the role of Mammootty’s brother in Pokkiri Raja, will not be part of this upcoming movie.

Madura Raja has an elaborate supporting cast comprising of Nedumudi Venu, RK Suresh, Vijayaraghavan, Salim Kumar, Aju Varghese, Dharmajan, Biku Kuttan, Siddique, MR Gopakumar, Kailas, Bala, Manikuttan, Noby and many others.
Vysakh-Udhayakrishna combo have retained the same technical team from Pulimurugan for Madura Raja as well. Cinematographer Shaji Kumar, composer Gopi Sundar and editor John Kutty form the crew. Stunts in the movie will be choreographed by Peter Hein, one of Indian cinema’s leading action choreographers.

In an earlier interview, director Vysakh had said that the second part of Pokkiriraja will be a more racy and technically advanced movie. The makers have planned to shoot the movie for around 120 days in a single schedule. This big budget movie is being produced by Nelson Ipe.
