Tiyaan is an unique film and a visual treat for Malayalam movie lovers: Jeethu Joseph

Tiyaan, one of the most awaited films of the year was released on July 7. The movie starring Prithviraj, Indrajith and Murali Gopy in the lead roles is directed by Jiyen Krishnakumar. Besides playing a pivotal role, Murali Gopy has also scripted this film.

The movie was opened to mixed reports from the critics. It evoked extreme reactions from the audience as some called it a movie solely for the intellectuals to grasp while some appreciated the team’s efforts to deliver something unseen in Malayalam cinema.

Director Jeethu Joseph was all praise for the movie in his recent Facebook post. In his note, the director has lauded the lead actors – Prithviraj and Indrajith’s performance while also rating Tiyaan as a kind of film that Malayalam cinema has not seen much.

Jeethu Joseph has written,

Tiyaan is an entirely different film, shot brilliantly through the ways which Malayalam films haven’t travelled much… Prithviraj and Indrajith were exceptional in portraying their roles with perfection… Great attempt and it is definitely a visual treat for Malayalam movie lovers.. Apart from the lead actors, Tiyaan has a plethora of supporting cast which includes Mrudula Sathe, Ranjeet, Padmapriya, Ananya, Shine Tom Chacko, Rahul Madhav, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Prakash Bare and Paris Lakshmi among others. Tiyaan, produced by Haneef Mohammed of Red Rose Creations was made a big budget movie.
