Tovino-Dijo Jose Antony film Pallichattambi to begin next year

In June 2019, it was announced that Tovino Thomas and director Dijo Jose Antony would be teaming up for a film titled Pallichattambi. However, there has been no further update about the film since then. Recently, during the promotions of his upcoming release Malayalee From India, Dijo revealed that Pallichattambi will start shoot from January 2025.

Pallichattambi scripted by S Suresh Babu and produced by Gokulam Gopalan of Sree Gokulam Movies. In its announcement poster, Tovino was seen sporting a handlebar moustache. The poster came with the tagline ‘An Epic of a Crusader’. The film wad announced with Jakes Bejoy as the music director, Sujith Sarang as the DOP and his brother Sreejith Sarang as the editor. It’s not yet known if the same technical team will be retained.

Tovino is currently looking forward to the release of Nadikar, directed by Lal Jr. The film, which also stars Soubin and Bhavana, has Tovino as a superstar. The actor is also reprisibg his character Jathin Ramdas from Lucifer in its sequel L2: Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. Ajayante Randam Moshanam is his other biggie in the line. Tovino is playing a triple role in this film eyeing release by the end of this year.
