Tovino Thomas about Angamaly Dairies

A preview show for Lijo Jose Pellissery’s upcoming movie Angamaly Diaries was organised yesterday for selected few invitees at PAN Cinemas, Nucleus Mall in Kochi.

Popular filmmakers like Lal Jose, Sibi Malayil and actors like Asif Ali, Tovino Thomas, Sunny Wayne, Chandini Sreedharan, Aparna Balamurali, Anu Mol and many others attended the preview show along with the whole cast and crew of Angamaly Diaries.

After the show, actor Tovino Thomas had a quick interaction with the media. The actor was all praise for the movie. He felt that the movie could capture the nativity and essence of Angamaly exactly what like it is in reality. He appreciated the cinematography and the performances of all the cast members.

Angamaly Diaries features around 85 newcomers, including the lead actors, as part of the cast. The movie marks the debut of actor Chemban Vinod Jose as a scenarist. Girish Gangadharan was handled the cinematography while Prasanth Pillai has scored the music. Vijay Babu has funded the movie under the banner Friday Film House.

The movie is all set to hit screens on March 3 along with Tovino Thomas’ highly anticipated campus political drama Oru Mexican Aparatha. Both the films are eagerly awaited by the movie lovers.

Oru Mexican Aparatha is directed by Tom Emmatty. The movie stars Neeraj Madhav, Roopesh Peethambaran, Gayathri Suresh and Kalabhavan Shajon in major characteres. The plot is set in the early 2000s in the Maharaja’s college and will showcase the campus politics that was prevalent during that period. Tovino will be seen as a student leader from the left front.
