Tovino Thomas likely to play a major role in Mohanlal’s Lucifer!!

Lucifer is one among the highly anticipated biggies that is set to go on floors this year. Actor Prithviraj is making his directorial debut with this film starring superstar Mohanlal in the lead. The multifaceted Murali Gopy is scripting the movie. Not much is known about the movie; the makers have maintained utmost secrecy regarding the proceedings, so much so that even the genre is unknown.

But as the movie gears up to go on floors, certain reports have cropped up suggesting that Lucifer will be a political thriller. Tovino Thomas, one of the most promising stars in Malayalam cinema at present, is likely to play a crucial role in the movie. The youngster had recently posted a selfie taken with Mohanlal in his Facebook page, which further strengthens the speculations.

The fact that Prithviraj is very close with Tovino also adds sparks to these reports. They have previously worked together in 7th Day, Ennu Ninte Moideen and Ezra, and share a great rapport. Prithviraj has hinted that Lucifer, like all other Murali Gopy scripts, will be an intense film that demands strong performances from the actors. It would be really great if Prithviraj can get Tovino also on board.

Lucifer is eagerly awaited by Malayalam movie lovers as it brings together two of the biggest stars of the industry – Mohanlal and Prithviraj – for the first time.
