Tovino Thomas’ Narivetta Gears Up for May Release

The highly anticipated Malayalam political thriller Narivetta, starring Tovino Thomas, is set to hit theaters in May. Directed by Ishq fame Anuraj Manohar, the film explores politically charged themes inspired by real-life incidents. With an intriguing storyline and a stellar cast, Narivetta is expected to be one of the major summer releases of the year.

The makers are actively promoting the film, recently unveiling character posters of its lead actors. Suraj Venjaramoodu plays police officer Basheer Ahammad, while Tamil actor-director Cheran, making his Malayalam debut, portrays R Keshavadas, another police officer. The film’s screenplay is penned by Sahitya Akademi-winning writer Abin Joseph, adding further depth to its narrative. Alongside Tovino, the cast also includes Arya Salim, Priyamvada Krishnan, and Rini Udayakumar.

Produced by Tippu Shan and Shiyas Hassan under the Indian Film Company banner, Narivetta boasts a strong technical crew, with Jakes Bejoy handling the music, Vijay as the cinematographer, and Shameer Muhammed in charge of editing. With its May release fast approaching, expectations are high for this gripping political drama.
