Tovino Thomas all set to join team Lucifer

Shoot for Mohanlal’s upcoming movie Lucifer is currently progressing. The movie which marks the directorial debut of actor Prithviraj is scripted by Murali Gopy. The movie touted to be a political thriller has a stellar star cast. Indrajith, Vivek Oberoi, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Fazil, Kalabhavan Shajon and ‘Queen’ fame Saniya Iyappan are already confirmed to be part of the movie.

Tovino Thomas, who is back from the shoot of his travel movie with Geo Baby, will soon be joining the sets of Lucifer. The actor will be part of the ongoing schedule in Trivandrum. The makers have planned a month long shoot in the capital city. Details about Tovino’s character in the movie have not been revealed but reports suggest that he is essaying a crucial part.

Lucifer, according to the makers, is a mass entertainer. Mohanlal is reportedly playing a politician’s role in the movie. The actor is seen sporting a salt and pepper hairstyle and a full-white look in the movie’s location stills. There is a buzz going around that Prithviraj is also playing an extended cameo role in the movie, but it is yet to confirmed.

After wrapping up the schedule in Trivandrum, the team will be shifiting to Mumbai and later to Dubai. Antony Perumbavoor is producing Lucifer under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
