Tovino Thomas’s ‘Anweshippin Kandethum,’ Makes a Strong Debut in Kerala Box Office
The recent Mollywood release, ‘Anweshippin Kandethum,’ featuring Tovino Thomas in the lead role, has garnered significant attention at the Kerala Box Office during its opening weekend. Directed by debutant Darwin Kuriakose, the film has received praise from both the general audience and critics.
Following an impressive response on the first day, the film’s screen count in Kerala has increased from 182 to 192. Early estimates indicate that the movie has grossed over 4.7 crores in its opening weekend in Kerala alone. Additionally, the film has shown promise in the rest of India and the overseas market.
‘Anweshippin Kandethum’ is a gripping investigation thriller featuring two murder mysteries. The screenplay of this flick is skillfully crafted by renowned writer/director Jinu Abraham and is produced by Theater of Dreams, owned by Dolwin Kuriakose and Jinu V Abraham.
Tovino Thomas delivers a compelling performance as Anand Narayanan, a dedicated police officer. The ensemble cast, including Siddique, Indrans, Baburaj, Harisree Ashokan, Shammi Thilakan, Vineeth Thattil, Sadique, Nandu, Azees Nedumangad, Kottayam Nazeer, Nishanth Sagar, and Sreejith Ravi, contributes to the film’s success.
