Trisha to play a doctor in Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph film Ram!

Mohanlal and Trisha are set to act together for the first time in ‘Ram’, which will be directed by Jeethu Joseph. Touted to be a big budget action thriller, the film will be shot in foreign locations like Egypt, London and Istanbul. Ramesh R Pillai and Sudhan S Pillai are jointly producing the film under the banner of Abhishek Films.

‘Ram’ is Trisha’s second film in Malayalam after making a memorable debut last year with Shyamaprasad’s ‘Hey Jude’. In ‘Ram’, she will be seen playing a doctor and it is said to be a very important role. The actress is quite excited about the film as it was her long time wish to act alongside Mohanlal.

According to director Jeethu, ‘Ram’ will be an unusual mass entertainer, an action-thriller with a realistic touch. Indrajith Sukumaran, Durga Krishna and Leona Lishoy are also part of the cast. Satheesh Kurup is the DOP and debutant Vishnu Shyam will be handling the music department. VS Vinayak is the editor. Shoot for the film is set to begin early next year.
