Trivandrum Lodge team reunite for a new film titled Madras Lodge!

After a three-year-long gap Anoop Menon made his comeback as a scriptwriter with the recently released Ente Mezhuthiri Athazhangal. The movie which hit screens last Friday has opened to decent reviews from the critics. Anoop Menon is once again wearing the writer’s hat for a new movie titled ‘Madras Lodge’. The title poster was unveiled today in social medias.

VK Prakash will be directing the movie, which marks his reunion with Anoop Menon after a six-year-long gap. They writer-director duo have previously worked together in two films, Beautiful and Trivandrum Lodge, both of which were successful at the box office. It is not yet known if their upcoming movie, Madras Lodge is the sequel of Trivandrum Lodge.

Trivandrum Lodge, released in 2012, was a bold attempt with a mix of genres like romance, drama, black comedy and off-color humor. Jayasurya, Honey Rose, Bhavana, Anoop Menon, Thesni Khan, P Balachandran, Saiju Kurup and many others were part of the movie. Trivandrum Lodge was the one of the first movies to be labelled with a ‘new gen’ tag.

Noble Thomas of 999 Entertainments, who produced Ente Mezhuthiri Athazhangal, is funding Madras Lodge as well. More details regarding the cast and when the movie goes on floors will be updated soon.
