Two Countries on the way to get a place in the 50 crore club of Mollywood

Shafi and Dileep always gave us great entertainer and they had earlier given us films like Kalyana Raman and Merikkundoru Kunjaadu. Both films were great successes as well. And they had done the same again with their latest film named Two Countries and this time even bigger and better. Their latest film Two Countries which released on last December 25th, is still ruling the box office of Kerala with great mouth publicity and as per reports it is on its way to the 50 crore club of Mollywood as well.

The film had earned more than 30 crore rupees from Kerala alone and outside Kerala as well it is getting great response. Even though the rest of India and overseas collection is not available, the trade guides are sure that the film will reach the 50 crore club of Mollywood very soon.

As of now only 3 films had made its entry to that special club. They are Mohanlal starrer Drishyam which had inaugurated that 50 crore club of Mollywood by earning 75 crore total business, Then came Nivin Pauly’s Premam which earned a total business around 67 crore and then comes Ennu Ninte Moideen starred by Prithvi Raj which had got nearly 60 crores total business.

As per reports multi-starrer Bangalore Days had earned around 48 crore total business and another multi-starrer named Amar Akbar Anthony also earned near 35-40 cr as total business. Now Dileep is all set to become the 4th star to enter that club and it will not be a wonder if this film does a total business around 75 crore just like what Drishyam did. The film is still there in almost 72 theaters in Kerala. In UAE it has 152 show per day and in UK they are starting to show the film with 63 shows per day as well.
