Two Rajinikanth(s) stun the audience during 2.0 first look launch event

The first look poster of the much expected 2.0 directed by Shankar was launched on Sunday in Mumbai. The grand event saw the presence of many top stars.

2.0 is the sequel to the all time blockbuster movie Enthiran. The movie stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in major roles. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is playing the antagonist in this movie.

During the launch event held in the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was the chief guest. Producer/director Karan Johar hosted the event.

While hosting the event, Karan Johar invited Rajinikanth to the stage. Suddenly there was a virtual figure of the character Chitti on the stage. Then Rajinikanth also joined the two. Interestingly, Chitti answered some of the questions by Karan Johar.

The audience looked bewildered and were wondering what is happening. There was a scene in Enthiran where scientist Vaseekaran introduces his creation Chitti the robot to a large gathering who ask the robot many questions. Sunday’s event resembled this particular scene from the movie.

2.0 is made in 3D format on a whopping budget of 350 crores. The movie is bankrolled by Lyca Productions. It is currently the most expensive movie ever made in Indian cinema history.

AR Rahman is the music director while Nirav Shah is the cinematographer for 2.0. Many technicians from Hollywood are working in 2.0 in the VFX and animatronics department.
