UAE and GCC release date confirmed for Mohanlal’s Villain!!
Mohanlal’s Villain is releasing this 27th and the fans are all excited about that. This B Unnikrishnan directorial is one of the most awaited movies of the year. While most Malayalam movies have their overseas release only after a month, Villain will be hitting screens in UAE and GCC within a week, on November 2. Scores of Malayali cine audience in the gulf regions are delighted with this news. UAE based Phars Films have bagged the movie’s distribution rights in this region.
Apart from Mohanlal, Villain also stars other popular actors like Manju Warrier, Vishal, Hansika Motwani Srikanth and Raashi Khanna. It is a crime featuring Mohanalal as a police officer and Vishal as a doctor. Manju Warrier plays Mohanla’s wife in the movie. Director B Unnikrishnan has said that Villain is not a loud mass masala entertainer, it is an emotional thriller which follows a serious mood.
Apart from a star studded cast, the movie also has a renowned set of technicians associated with it. Cinematography is done by Manoj Paramahamsa and NK Ekambaram. The entire movie is shot in 8K resolution, which, according to the makers, is a first in South India. Songs are composed by Oppam fame 4 Musics while Ezra fame handles the background score. Shameer Mohammed of Charlie and Angamaly Diaries fame is in charge of the edits. Rockline Films is making their entry to Mollywood by funding this big budget movie.
