Unni Mukundan undergoes yet another physical transformation!

Unni Mukundan is one of those very few actors from Malayalam cinema who have been willing to go that extra yard to transform physically according to the needs of a character. Last year, for playing a warrior’s role in ‘Mamangam’, the actor had developed a strong, ripped physique. Currently, he is in the process of letting go off all the muscles he developed for his new film ‘Meppadiyan’.

After the completion of ‘Mamangam’, Unni Mukundan had been on a four-month long break. He has undergone a new makeover for ‘Meppadiyan’, in which he will be seen as an average Malayali youth. Last day, Unni took to his social media handle to share a new photo in which he is seen with a flabby tummy. Along with that, he has written,

Took me 11 months to prepare for Chandroth Panicker, to be the Man that He Was, physically and emotionally! And that’s done and dusted, a thing of the past now ! Thanks u for loving him !! However, since the last 4 months, I have been busy letting all the muscles go by, as you can see, I have my neat kudavayaru. This transformation is for my next Movie, Meppadiyan. Jayakrishnan is a very normal guy. The look will be justified while you watch the film. Expecting your support. And, Letting each one of you know that the movie has no action sequences. It’s a movie for the youth and the family alike. Keep me in your prayers !

Unni Mukundan has pinned high hopes on ‘Meppadiyan’. The film is directed by debutant Vishnu Mohan. Noorin Sheriff and debutante Aparna Janardhanan play the female leads.
