Unni Mukundan’s ‘Marco’ Enters Rs 50 Crore Club in Just 7 Days

Unni Mukundan’s action-packed thriller Marco, directed by Haneef Adeni, has achieved a remarkable feat, crossing the Rs 50 crore mark within just seven days of its release. Produced by Shaereef Muhammed under the banner of Cubes Entertainments, the film’s raw and violent narrative, marketed as the most violent A-rated movie in Indian cinema, has resonated with audiences, making it a box office sensation. This is the second Unni Mukundan Movie to cross the 50 crore mark in his career. The First one was Malikappuram which was released in 2022.

The movie has raked in Rs 25 crore from Kerala in its first six days, boosted by the Christmas holiday, while collections from the rest of India and overseas markets contributed another Rs 24 crore, taking its global total to Rs 49 crore by day six. On its seventh day, Marco stormed past the Rs 50 crore milestone, solidifying its status as a major commercial success.

With strong audience support, especially in Kerala, and a growing fan base beyond its home state, Marco is set to dominate the box office for weeks to come. While a better presence in Hindi markets could amplify its business, the movie’s current performance indicates a clear path to entering the prestigious Rs 100 crore club. For now, Marco continues to captivate viewers with its intense action and gripping storytelling.
