Upacharapoorvam Gunda Jayan gets a second part

‘Upacharapoorvam Gunda Jayan’ starring Saiju Kurup in the lead is getting a second part. The film’s director Arun Vaiga took to his social media handle to announce the same. The first part, backed by Dulquer Salmaan’s production house Wayfarer Films, got released in theatres in February and later on Amazon Prime Video. It received largely positive reviews and had a decent run.

‘Upacharapoorvvam Gunda Jayan’ scripted by Rajesh Varma is a hilarious family drama set in the backdrop of a wedding. Siju Wilson, Shabareesh Varma, Johny Antony, Sabumon, Sudheer Karamana, Jaffer Idukki, Shani Shaki, Biju Sopanam, Vijilesh, Sagar Surya, Vrindha Menon and Parvathy essayed important roles in the film. It is not yet known if the same cast will be retained for the sequel.
