Usha Uthup records a song for Lucifer

Prithviraj’s directorial debut Lucifer is getting ready for a worldwide release this month end. Post-production works are currently in the final stages. Last day, veteran singer Usha Uthup recorded a song for the movie. The track titled ‘Lucifer Anthem’ is composed by Deepak Dev and written by Murali Gopy, who has also scripted the movie.

An excited Murali Gopy took to his social media handle to share photos from the recording session. He has written,

Fan moment. We have always been great admirers of the way she delivers a song, in a way only she can. So, it was a great thing for Raju, Deepak and me, when Usha Didi agreed to sing a song for ‘Lucifer’. Composed by Deepak Dev and written by me, the song is being titled “The Lucifer Anthem”. Also seen in one of these pictures is Usha Didi’s daughter and famous RJ Anjali Uthup Kurian.

Lucifer starring Mohanlal in the lead is touted to be a political thriller. The movie has a star studded cast comprising of Indrajith, Tovino, Vivek Oberoi, Manju Warrier, Bala, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Nyla Usha, Sai Kumar, Nandu, Saniya Iyappan, John Vijay, Sachin Khedekar, Shaun Romy and many others.

Promotions are currently on in full swing. The makers have planned a grand trailer launch on March 22, to be held in Dalma Mall, Abu Dhabi. Mohanlal, Tovino Thomas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Murali Gopy and Antony Perumbavoor will be attending the event. Aashirvad Cinemas is producing the movie, which is scheduled for a grand release on March 28.
