Vaikom Vijayalakshmi backs out of marriage

Popular singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi has won the hearts of music lovers through her peculiar voice. She did not let her blindness affect her god given gift in music. The talented singer recently got engaged to Santhosh, also a musician hailing from Puthiyangadi.

However, the talented singer has now backed out of the marriage after some unacceptable demands from Santhosh’s family. Santhosh had asked her not to participate any musical programmes after marriage instead asked her to work as a teacher in any music college.

Santhosh initially had also accepted to stay in Vijayalakshmi’s home after marriage but has now informed her that they will be moving to a relative’s house after marriage. Their marriage was scheduled to be held on March 29.
