Valimai first look on May 1st on the occasion of Ajith’s 50th birthday

Finally, after months of waiting, Ajith fans have a reason to rejoice as it has been announced that the first look poster and the promotions of ‘Valimai’ will be initiated from May 1, which happens to be the star’s 50th birthday.

Producer Boney Kapoor confirmed the same by tweeting,

Ajith’s ‘Valimai’ is one of the most hyped projects in Tamil cinema in recent years. Though it has been over a year since shoot commenced, the makers had not been sharing regular updates which did gone well with the fans. #ValimaiUpdate has been a regularly trending hashtag in Twitter and fans often storm the social media handles of the film’s cast and crew members pestering them for updates.

‘Valimai update’ soon became a topic of jokes in social medias. Multiple videos of fans asking politicians, sportspersons and others for updates on ‘Valimai’ have gone viral. After this relentless behaviour from the fans escalated, Ajith came out with a strong-worded statement urging them not to indulge in such acts. He expressed his disappointment and asked his fans to maintain dignity and discipline in public.

‘Valimai’ directed by H Vinoth said to be a cop-action thriller made on a big scale. Huma Qureshi, Kartikeya Gummakonda, Yogi Babu and Achyuth Kumar are part of the cast.
