The much-awaited Tamil action thriller Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 is reportedly considering a postponement from its worldwide release date of March 27, 2025, to avoid a clash with Empuraan. This move could give Empuraan a wider screen allocation in Tamil Nadu.
Directed by S. U. Arun Kumar and produced by Riya Shibu under HR Pictures, Veera Dheera Sooran stars Vikram in the lead role, alongside S. J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu (making his Tamil debut), Dushara Vijayan, and Siddique. Touted as a high-octane action thriller, the film has been generating significant buzz.
On the other hand, Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, is the highly anticipated sequel to Lucifer. The film is an action-packed political thriller that stars Mohanlal, Prithviraj, and a stellar ensemble. Aashirvad Cinemas produces it in association with Lyca Productions.
