Venkat Prabhu to reunite with Ajith; Mankatha 2 on cards?

Of late, there have been lot of speculations about a possible sequel to Ajith’s blockbuster film, ‘Mankatha’. The movie directed by Venkat Prabhu is one of the biggest hits in Ajith’s career and enjoys a huge fan following. Buzz about a sequel to the movie has already thrilled the fans. Adding up to their excitement, Venkat Prabhu took to his social media handle last day to share a photo taken with Ajith. It is said that the two met for a brief discussion on their new film. As of now, fans are eagerly wait for an official announcement.

Ajith is currently shooting for his new movie directed by H Vinoth of ‘Theeran’ fame. The movie, tentatively titled Thala 59 aka AK 59, is the official remake of acclaimed Hindi film, ‘Pink’. Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor, husband of late actress Sridevi, is entering K-Town by producing this movie.

Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu is set to start works on his new film, ‘Maaanadu’, which is a political thriller starring Simbu in the lead. Shoot for the movie is expected to commence shortly.
