Venkat Prabhu’s horror web series with Kajal Aggarwal titled Live Telecast

Director Venkat Prabhu, best known for his films like ‘Mankatha’ and ‘Chennai 600028’, is making a Tamil web series with Kajal Aggarwal in the lead. Titled as ‘Live Telecast’, it is a horror series that will soon be streaming in Disney + Hotstar. It is a horror series that also has Vaibhav and ‘Kayal’ fame Anandhi in major roles.

As per reports, Venkat Prabhu had originally planned to make ‘Live Telecast’ as a feature film, but later opted to make it in a series form as the subject demanded a longer run time. Reportedly, the series will have 10 episodes. An official word regarding the release date is expected to be out soon.

Apart from ‘Live Telecast’, Hotstar has some other Tamil web series lined up. ‘November Story’ starring Tamannaah and GM Kumar is a crime-thriller series. Indira Subramaniyam has written and directed the show. ‘My Perfect Husband’ with Sathyaraj, Seetha, Rakshan and Aajeedh promises to be a fun and light-hearted series. It is directed by Thamira. Karthik Subbaraj is producing a series titled ‘Triples’. Jai, Vani Bhojan, Vivek Prasanna and Rajkumar play the leads in it. It is directed by Charukesh. The release dates are expected to be announced soon.
