Veteran actress Kozhikode Sharada passes away
Veteran Malayalam actress Kozhikode Sharada has passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment treatment at the the Kozhikode Medical College. Reportedly, she was hospitalized on Monday night after she complained of breathing difficulties. She was 75.
Kozhikode Sharada started her acting career with dramas. She made her debut in cinema witj ‘Ankkakury’, which got released in 1979. She has worked with the legendary director IV Sasi in many films like ‘Anubandham’, ‘Nalkavala’ and ‘Annyarudae Bhumi’.
Sharada is also noted for her roles in films like ‘Sallapam’, ‘Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu’, ‘Kutty Srank’, ‘Utsava Pittennu’ and ‘Rappakal’. She has acted in around 80 films. Besides that, she has also acted in a few television serials.
