‘Vietnam Colony’, released in 1992, had Mohanlal and Kanaka in the lead roles. It also had a plethora of supporting actors like Innocent, Devan, Vijaya Rangaraju, Jagannatha Varma, KPAC Lalitha, Nedumudi Venu, Kuthiravattam Pappu, Vijayaraghavan, Bheeman Raghu, Philomina, Kaviyoor Ponnamma and many others. Following its huge success, the film was later remade in Tamil with Prabhu in the lead.
