Vigilance case against Mollywood Super Star Mohanlal

Muvattupuzha Vigilance Court was ordered investigation against Mollywood Super Star Mohanlal for illegal possession of ivory tusk.

The case was filed by Eloor Pandikaadu Paulose. The court ordered an investigation against 12 people. Senior officials from the previous Government, ex-forest minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan have all been accused in the case.

Earlier there was a case against Mohanlal for illegal possession of elephant tusks but the UDF government had apparently squashed the case. The complainant has accused that the previous government intervened in the legal procedures and fabricated the case.

The ivory tusks were confiscated from the actor’s house during a vigilance raid 4 years back. According to the complaint, possession of elephant tusks are illegal and the government has unnecessarily dragged the case for 50 months.

After hearing the petition, Muvattupuzha Vigilance Court has ordered a re investigation in the case.
