Vijay Deverakond starrer Liger to be out in 5 languages; Release date announced

After the smashing success of ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Dear Comrade’, Vijay Deverakonda is trying to establish himself as a pan-Indian actor. ‘Liger’ directed by Puri Jagganadh is his first attempt to reach out a wider audience. The makers have announced that the film will be hitting screens on September 9. It will be releasing in 5 languages — Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam.

‘Liger’ promises to be an action packed entertainer. Vijay Deverakonda plays the role of a kickboxer in it. As part of preparations for the film, the actor underwent a solid physical transformation and went to Thailand to train in martial arts. Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey plays the female lead. The film also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy and Vishu Reddy in important roles.

Karan Johar is presenting the Hindi version of ‘Liger’. Popular actress Charemee Kaur, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta are also part of the production.
