Vijay meets Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao

Actor Vijay, who is currently in Hyderabad shooting for his new film with Vamshi Paidipally, met Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao last day. Director Vamshi also accompanied Vijay for the meeting at Pragati Bhava, the CM’s office-cum-official residence.

Meanwhile, the shoot of Vijay- Vamshi Paidipally film, tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 66’, is progressing at a brisk pace. Telugu-based production house Sri Venkateswara Creations is backing the film. The makers have already confirmed it as a Pongal 2023 release.

‘Thalapathy 66’ is reportedly a family-based entertainer. Rashmika Mandanna has been paired with Vijay in the film. Veterans Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj and Jayasudha will be seen playing other important roles. The film has Thaman as the music director. Karthik Palani is the cinematographer and edits will be handled by Praveen KL.
