The day before the release of his biggest film Puli, actor Vijay had gone through one of the worst day of his life as income tax officials raided his house and properties as per the complaints about him regarding tax evasion. The next day there was some problems happened just before the release of the film as well which is said to be related to this raid on the cast and crew members of the film named Puli.

Due to that, the flick had to cancel all its morning and fans shows. Along with that when the film released it had got negative reports all over and Vijay has been criticized a lot for picking up this role as well. The very next day another news came that the income tax officials who made raids in his house claimed to have said that Vijay was not paying the tax properly for almost last five years and he almost hid 25 crore rupees by thus evading the tax . Now Vijay has reacted about this news of him evading the tax returns.

The news as usual got spread in the social media platforms and at that time there was no response from Vijay. But now Vijay had set a press note to media stating that these kind of false news is really hurting him and his family as well. Vijay in that press note said that he, his family members and office staff fully co-operated with the income tax officials while they were raiding. He said that the news about him evading the tax was absolutely fake. He said that he completely respect the law of our nation and will never evade tax from the Government. He always filed the tax returns correctly and till this financial year he had done it all correct. He said he had paid all kinds of taxes correctly till now and will continue to do so as well. Vijay appealed to those who spreading these kind of false news about him as it hurts a lot.

Even after the negative reviews his film Puli is doing a good business all over and that itself is a proof of his stardom and the people’s love towards him.
