Vijay Sethupathi is like a family member to me: Madonna Sebastian

Vijay Sethupathi starrer Junga is gearing up to hit screens on the 27th of this month. The movie also marks the actor’s debut outing as a producer. Gokul is directing this movie which is touted be a fun filled entertainer. ‘Vanamagan’ fame Sayyeshaa is paired opposite Vijay Sethupathi while Malayali actress Madonna Sebastian is also there in a crucial role in this movie.

Junga is Madonna’s third film with Vijay Setupathi after starring alongside him in ‘Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum’ and ‘Kavan’. Their on-screen chemistry in both the movies were well appreciated. In a recent press meet held as part of Junga promotions, Madonna was all praise of Vijay Sethupathi.

She is quoted saying, “Vijay is like family to me. He is one of the finest actors I’ve ever come across. He made it so much easier for me than it would have been. I finished shooting for the movie in around 10-11 days but that is when I got into the groove of it. I missed the shooting from then. Since then I have been asking director Gokul about the release and its finally coming to screens this month.”

Junga is Vijay Setupathi’s second film with Gokul after the comic caper Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara (IAB). Junga is said to be a rom-com entertainer, which according to the makers, will be a lot more quirkier and interesting than the duo’s previous outing, IAB. Vijay Sethupathi plays a don in the movie which is majorly set in Paris.
